Crochet Reef Project

Today I am going to meet with the lady who is coordinating the Hyperbolic Crochet Coral Reef project that will be exhibited at the Indiana State Museum this fall.  It is so exciting to be a part of this endeavor.  I have made several pieces for it and then I decided that I want a "mini" coral reef for myself!  And since I am not a very skilled crochetist (is that even a word?) crocheter (probably better, anyway) and I am a lampwork artist, I decided to make some fish to go along with my reef!  This is what I have come up with.   I think it turned out pretty well.
This picture was taken when the cover had been removed so there is no glare.
Now with the cover on.

Then close ups of my lampwork fish.  I just love these little cuties!

  1. Your fish are adorable! And the reef is fantastic too! We think the reef will be a really fun exhibit and are looking forward to it. Thanks for helping!

  2. Your little fish and the whole coral reef is beautiful! Love love love that little red, black and white fish!
